The periwinkle is more famous in our country as sadaphuli or nithyakalyani. True to its name, this perennial blooms profusely through the year with very little care. They come in bright colours and thrive in partial shade. They love a rich well draining soil and can grow very quickly to give a steady stream of flowers.
